J. Rotheray

J. ROTHERAY is a writer and researcher specializing in Thai and Southeast Asian culture and religion. He has lived and traveled throughout mainland Southeast Asia since 2003, and has undertaken research on a range of subjects including the Pol Pot era in Cambodia, the film art of Apichatpong Weerasethakul, and spirit worship and popular Buddhism in Thailand. Today, he lives in Chiang Mai, northern Thailand.
